Andrew Freeman (’80, Chair)
Andrew has served on the Finance and Advancement Committee (Chair) and Council of Governors.
He is currently serving his second term on the Foundation Board (2011 – 2020 and 2022 to present) and was elected Chair in June 2024.
He is a Graduate and member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors and has a B.Sc (Hons)
Alexandra Dimos (Vice Chair)
Alex joined the Foundation Board in 2014 and was appointed Vice Chair in 2019. Alex is a current parent.
She is an Environmental Engineer and has a B. Eng (Hons). She has completed the Governor’s Leadership Foundation Program and the Australian Institute of Company Directors. Alex also serves on the Board of Creative Australia (formally known as The Australian Council for the Arts) and the Board of Philanthropy Australia.
Peter Harvey (’91)
Peter Harvey (’91) joined the Board in 2009 and served as Chair from 2019 through to June 2024. He is the Foundation nominee to the College’s Investment Committee. Peter is a current parent and past President of the Scotch College Old Collegians’ Association.
Peter is a Member of the Chartered Accountants Australia & New Zealand, a Fellow of the Taxation Institute of Australia and is a partner at Tilbrook Rasheed Chartered Accountants.
Christopher Brake
Christopher joined the Board in 2020 as a strong advocate for the Purruna Centre. After 30 years’ experience in the Food Industry in the UK and Europe, Christopher and his wife moved to Adelaide in 2017 to be with family. Christopher is a past parent and current grandparent.
Brigid Emmett
Brigid Emmett joined the Board in 2023. She is a current parent, qualified lawyer and nationally accredited mediator.
Brigid has 20 years of experience in the areas of commercial and employment law, dispute resolution and workplace mediation, facilitation and training. She works as a senior consultant at Perks People Solutions.
Phil Camens (’76)
Phil Camens (’76) has been a member of the Foundation Board since 1994. He previously served on the Council, Finance Committee, Investment Committee and other sub-committees for many years. He is an Old Collegian, former parent and remains actively involved supporting the school in a number of areas. Phil is a Chartered Accountant having been a partner with PKF and Deloitte but has practised on his own for over 23 years specialising in Forensic Accounting.
Trent Driver (Principal)
Trent is an experienced school leader and educator, with a career across a breadth of schools and contexts. He joined Scotch from MLC Sydney in 2023 where he provided coaching and mentoring to staff in leadership positions.
He has lead complex educational programs for over a decade. From 2014 – 2021 Trent was Deputy Head (Academic) at Newington College in Sydney.
Emma Ewer (’83)
Emma Ewer joined the Board in 2015. She is a current parent and Old Collegian. Emma served on the College Council between 2017 and 2023 during which time she also Chaired the Advancement Committee.
Emma graduated from the University of Adelaide in 1986 with a Bachelor of Arts degree majoring in Psychology. She has worked in private business for over 35 years. Emma is a graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.
Rebecca Healy (Executive Officer)
Rebecca Healy is the Executive Officer of the Foundation and Director of Philanthropy at Scotch College Adelaide.
Rebecca brings over 20 years of experience in philanthropy, business, and marketing and communications across the educational, not-for-profit and corporate sectors.
John Kramer
John Kramer joined the Foundation Board in 1988. He is a past parent, past President of the Scotch College P&F, previous Executive Officer of the Foundation and the first Director of Development at Scotch.
His career in the Advancement spans more than 30 years across the educational and not-for-profit sectors. John is a Fellow of EducatePlus, a Certified Fund Raising Executive and in 2006 was awarded the Australasia Trevor Wigney Award for outstanding service and success in advancement.
Mark Lewis (Council Representative, ’83)
Mark is the current Chair of the Advancement Committee and member of the Council of Governors. He is an Old Collegian and has three children currently at Scotch.
Mark has significant senior executive and Board experience including Chairman roles. He is a Life Member of the Mortgage & Finance Association of Australia, awarded for his contribution over many years to the mortgage industry.
Jasmine Yelegin
Jasmine Yelegin has been a member of the Foundation Board since 2020. She is a current parent and brings a wealth of business and financial experience. Jasmine has a Bachelor of Business in Accounting (BBA), is a Certified Practising Accountant and successfully completed the Insolvency Practitioners Association of Australia Program in 2000. Jasmine gained international experience with Smith and Williamson Insolvency Turnaround before returning to work for Adelaide at Ferrier Hodgson. Jasmine now manages a successful Surgery Centre.
Kerri Hooper
Kerri Hooper joined the Board in 2023.
She is a current parent, practicing lawyer and registered nurse. Kerri practices and health and employment law and keeps her regency of practice as nurse.
