Community Scholarship

The Scotch College Community Scholarship is made possible through the incredible generosity of the Scotch community. In 2024, our community came together to raise over $500,000, ensuring that deserving students with strong values, leadership potential, and a drive to make a difference can access a Scotch education.

This life-changing scholarship opens doors for a student who might not otherwise have the opportunity to study at Scotch. It provides up to 100% of tuition fees, along with application and enrolment costs, school uniform, books, stationery, and a laptop.

Available for a student entering Year 9 in 2026, the scholarship offers four years of support, enabling them to experience everything Scotch College has to offer.

  • Applications for the Community Scholarship (commencing in 2026) close on Friday 23 May 2025.

The scholarship will be awarded based on financial need and is open to external students only. As such, means testing will be required as part of the scholarship process and scholarship recipients must meet agreed expectations to continue receiving the Scholarship.

The Community Scholarship includes:

  • Up to 100% coverage of tuition fees
  • 100% coverage of application and enrolment fees (value of $3250)
  • Initial uniform package provided (up to $1500) at the commencement of the scholarship
  • Books and stationery (approx. $500)
  • MacBook, required by all students (up to $2,500)

Families will be expected to pay all other costs including:
