Old Collegians’ Scholarship
The Old Collegians’ Scholarship is awarded to a current or new student entering Year 10. The student must be the son or daughter, or grandson or granddaughter, of an Old Collegian who is a member of the Old Collegians’ Association.
Eligibility
To be eligible for the Old Collegians’ Scholarship at Scotch College Adelaide, applicants must be:
- a new student entering into Year 10, or
- a current student entering into Year 10
Applicants must be Australian or New Zealand citizens or holders of an Australian Permanent Resident Visa.
Selection Criteria
Recipients must demonstrate strong qualities of service and leadership and are willing to fully participate in academic life and contribute to the co-curricular program.
Successful candidates will be eager to participate in the wide range of opportunities and activities available at the college and adhere to the scholarship expectations.

Applications open: Monday 28 October 2024
Applications close: Friday 17 January 2025
Scholarship outcomes communicated to families by 31 March 2025.
What does an Old Collegians’ Scholarship cover?
Up to 50% of the day fee; may vary depending on the individual.
Awards of over 50% are made in exceptional circumstances. In such cases, parents will be asked to complete a financial assessment form.
The scholarship awarded applies to the relevant Scotch College day fee, but not to uniforms, enrolment fees, purchase of a laptop, transport, private vocal or instrumental lessons, textbooks and stationery, excursions, co-curricular activities, sundry charges or other personal items.
