A celebration of technology education and student agency.

DigiDo was born as a celebration of technology education and student agency. The event revolves around student-led workshops, where children from a range of local primary schools have an opportunity to showcase their technology skills and inspire their inter-school peers.

DigiDo has a focus on the Digital Technologies Australian Curriculum and includes student panels discussing important learning topics such as ethics, safety and responsibility in digital use. Every year we also invite professionals and representatives from a range of digital technology companies to showcase exciting ways tech is being applied in the local industry. Past showcases have included Maker’s Empire, Adobe, Flinders University, Comp Now and Micro-X.

The day will start off with a showroom of emerging technologies and industry professionals. Students will then attend student-led workshops and be part of discussion panels discussing ethical and safety issues in the technology world. There will be spot prizes and goodie bags.
