It is my honour to introduce the Scotch community to our 10th Principal, Mr Trent Driver.
Led by the Scotch Council of Governors, Scotch ran a comprehensive and global search to find the right candidate for this esteemed and critical leadership position. We were incredibly pleased with the quality of applications we received, which ranged from highly experienced Principals to incredibly well credentialed Deputy Principals, ready to take on their next big challenge. The process highlighted that we have a very talented group of educators and leaders within Australia.
Trent was a standout candidate from very early in the process, given his strong connection to the future of education and his vision for wellbeing, which is at the centre of everything we do at Scotch. Trent has the skills, passion and energy to guide the College in the next phase of its strategic plan, which will see further investment into a holistic education program, supported by modern infrastructure and leading technology.
Trent is an experienced school leader and educator. With a career across a breadth of schools and contexts, he has led complex educational programs for over a decade.
I look forward to welcoming Trent to the Scotch College community when he joins us in Term 4 this year, allowing for a thorough handover and to immerse himself in the Scotch culture before commencing in 2023.
